Theme No Bo-Hi D1095HCB29.5NB Forged from pure 1095 high-carbon steel, this 29.5" blade is as resilient as it is beautiful. Hand- forged and clay-tempered, the Hamon is brought out through a meticulous traditional hand-polish on imported Japanese stones. This fine polish exposes the grain of the steel, very similar to Nashiji Hada (pear Hada). The absence of Bo-Hi makes this blade a superior choice for cutting. The blade is fitted with a horse Tsuba, and cherry blossom Fuchi-Kashira and Menuki. The 11" Tsuka is wrapped in black silk Ito. The Saya is finished in a high gloss black lacquer with Same- gawa paneling. |
